TotalGard StressGard Night Tooth Guard Reviews
10 of 10 people found the following review helpful By kid at heart (Plymouth, MI USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: TotalGard StressGard Night Tooth Guard (Health and Beauty) I have been using this product nightly for several years now. I, too, had a custom piece made by the dentist. I admit that it was a little bit more comfortable, but not $125 (my price with dental insurance) more comfortable. You will get used to the feel once you use it. Since using this product I have NEVER had it come out of my mouth, but that may reflect my own sleeping patterns/habits.In my opinion, for the money it's well worth it. Just trim the plastic (I have even used a bit of sand paper to file a rough edge) to fit your mouth more comfortably. And no, I don't work for the company. Truly am happy with the product and have been so for about 4 years. The usual lifespan for this product (in my experience) is about 6-8 months. Then again, this is relative to your situation. Recommended product! 9 of 10 people found the following review helpful By Mama Stoy (Gaithersburg, MD) - See all my reviews This review is from: TotalGard StressGard Night Tooth Guard (Health and Beauty) I don't recommend this product. It is uncomfortable to wear and falls out of your mouth at night. It hinders breathing if you breathe through your mouth at night. I is sharp and rough. I would recommend you try a different product. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: TotalGard StressGard Night Tooth Guard (Health and Beauty) I am a severe grinder, and when I broke my $1,500 custom night guard, I bought one of these to tide me over till I could get a new one. That was five years ago and I never did get that new one. I have to switch these out after about 6 - 8 months, but they are just as effective as the custom night guards at a fraction of the cost. |
